53. Bougainville xo rum
The VS is aged for a minimum of 6 yrs in a seasoned Olorroso Sherry and Pedro Ximinez barrels before being blended and bottled. The rum is bold, opulent and characterful. On the nose, the XO offers a heady, intricate blend of prunes, raisins, dried fruits and tobacco it is opulent and velvety on the palate with generous notes of toffee, caramel and tobacco with zesty finish. The rum lingers tantalisingly before softening to a satisfying zesty and dry finish.

55. Chamarel xo rum sauternes finish
Chamarel XO Sauternes Cask Finish is Pure Cane Rum based on the same production and aging as the XO. The rum spent the first part of its life in a French Oak barrel with an extra 2 years in a ex-Sauterne wine barrel to finish it off; with a total aging of minimum 8 years.Among the spice and vanilla, there’s a whole lot of dried fruit and stone fruit influence in there too.
56. Chamarel rum xo cognac finish
The palate is soft, round and perfectly disarming. once again, chamarel patiently builds up a very complex nose, the better to melt us in the mouth. because that’s what it’s all about: a mellow rum with velvety vegetal notes, taste buds sweetly enveloped in thick, gently spicy cane juice, complex, intertwined flavors, spices completely melted onto a woodiness that’s just as woody.the finish is soft, almost sweet. a slight bitterness of lime zest remains, along with complex floral and fruity notes, like a perfume.
57. Oxenham 85th anniversary
The anniversary rum is made from the 1st press of pure sugar cane juice without the addition of any water. It has the same fermentation process as for wine with a cool and long process.
Following which the mash if double distilled similar to whisky with an initial distillation to a low spirit and second for the final rum which come off the still at around 75% abv. The rum is watered down to 70% before being aged for 6 years in French oak barrels which had previously held South African chenin blanc and pinotage before being bottled at 42%.
58. St Aubin – 10 yrs
It has a very charming & elegant nose, with nut paste, milk chocolate, toffee coming through. Palate is soft, with wooden aromas, flavours of cocoa&fatty nuts with a fresh cane wood finish.
59. St Aubin 15 yrs
This is quite a historic rum. It was one of the very first rum distilled at the St Aubin Distillery back in 2003 from the small original pot still made from first press sugar cane juice grown on the estate. The distilled spirit at 75% abv from the pot still was left to age for 15 years in ex-whiskey barrels following which is diluted a little bit and bottled at 45% abv.
A rum to die for was an appealing nose, quite nutty with hints of dried apricots and tobacco. The palate is woody and smoky, even slightly peaty while retaining the sweetness of the fruit and spices. It has a long and persistent finish. This is a Limited Edition single cask/barrel rum.
60. Spice as nice rum
The finest dark rum is spiced with the flavours you expect from a tropical rum. Cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg with a little heat from ginger and of course a little sweetness from cane sugar.
Delicious with coke or just neat over ice….simply yummy!
